Marvellous Party In The Park
Oh What a night!! All of the residents who had spared some time to
volunteer and help out for Bloomin Marvellous really made a difference.
It was amazing to see more than 5,000 people of all ages getting
involved and to show appreciation each and every one of them were
thanked with a free family party which was held in Horden Welfare
Park.
The party kicked off with a magnificent aerobatic display over the
skies of the two villages and the night then went from strength to
strength with live stage acts.All of the gifts that were kindly donated
by local businesses and companies were raffled off and these included
a 
super
mountain bike donated by informnorth creative services and four special
VIP tickets for the winner to any show at Metro Radio Arena.
At the party there was also free kiddies rides, face painting and
street entertainers including a fire eater, clowns and balloon modelling.
The grand finale was a breath taking fire work display set to music.
Everyone enjoyed the evening and complemented the organisers on the
success of the campaign as a whole.
