I was really proud to take part in this enormous task. I had loads of fun, but most of all I was very proud of everyone else and the effort that was made to make Horden and Easington "Bloomin Marvellous".The photo's are fab and a great reminder to look back upon.

Thank you to everyone who took part in any way. It has been a marvellous experience meeting everyone and seeing the real difference we can make in a community. I am delighted that so many activities have already sprung from Bloomin, Marvellous including the Easington Colliery Kite Festival, litterpicking in Horden and the fantastic displays of flowers and gardens in both villages. I'm looking forward to entering Northumbria in Bloom next year and really showing people how great this area is!

What a wonderful and worthwhile thing to do. It's bloomin marvellous to drive into the two villages and see the flowerbeds and cast iron floral displays. Well done to all who took part.
